Long-term Iowa City resident and University of Iowa graduate, Franklin Seiberling is one of our founding board members. It was in the early 70's when he and John met in Iowa City. Franklin worked actively for the George McGovern presidential campaign and continues to be active in progressive causes. Franklin is also an accomplished computer programmer whose career was at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. John and Franklin have collaborated on many projects across many areas of interests: Peace Parts, The Iowa City Copy Exchange, Ham Radio. His understanding of the controversies of First Amendment expressive rights of Students and Youth is based on a profoundly poetic analysis of the Human Condition.
